Knife Kits



I started out making knives from kits. I wanted to put together a complete kit for someone wanting to try to make a knife of their own. Kit includes blade, handle scales, pin stock, and instructions. The blades are ground from either 1095 or 5160. to 220 grit and heat treated. Can be finished with simple tools (sandpaper, a couple files, a drill, & clamps).

Kits come in 4 styles:

An old school “chubby” style blade.

Good for small game or an everyday utility.

My most versatile kit blade. Quick finish & micarta makes a tough working knife, polished out and nice wood is a gent’s dress hunter. Seen a couple of these sandblasted with clips ground on for a distinctly “tactical” look.

Makes an awesome backpack knife.

Simple hunter for small to medium game.

Basically a SLB shrunk down a bit.

Handle options include, several varities of wood, micarta, g10, and resin scales.


Customized kits available with options like San Mai or Pattern Welded blades, unique blade shapes, or premium handle materials at addtional cost.


Usual shipping time is 2-3 days if I have all materials in stock, 2 weeks if I have to order or make something.
